Welcome to the heart of our farm! We take immense pride in the health and vitality of our Livestock. We value breeds that are cold-hardy, efficient foragers, and good mothers. To ensure the long-term wellness of our animals, we maintain a “clean herd” status and follow strict biosecurity protocols.
We use managed rotational grazing to provide our livestock with the best nutrition while regenerating our pastures. Livestock| Sheep & Goats
We maintain a mixed flock of purebred North Country Cheviot, Finnsheep and Romney. We also cross these breeds to improve wool, increase, lambing percentages or enhance carcass quality. Our Robust Hybrid “mules” produce healthy prime lambs for market.
We raise ADGA registered Nigerian Dwarf goats and breed for milk production, udder quality and mothering. Our bottle lambs get first dibs on The rich, high-fat milk produced by our NDs. Any excess milk is enjoyed on-farm in the form of home-made yogurt or Chevre.
