Sheep Shearing Party

Each year, Flying Rowan Farm hosts a traditional sheep shearing event, offering visitors an opportunity to witness the skilled craft of wool harvesting. This festive gathering includes demonstrations, educational conversations about sheep care, and fun interactions with the sheep! enjoy a day of community engagement and learn about sustainable farming practices.

Spring Photo Day

In the spring, the farm opens its gates for a special photo-day dedicated to capturing memorable moments with adorable baby lambs and chicks. Visitors are encouraged to bring their cameras and enjoy the picturesque setting while taking charming photographs of the young animals. This event provides a perfect occasion for families and photography enthusiasts to celebrate new life on the farm.

We love connecting with our neighbors! From mid-May through December, Flying Rowan Farm brings a diverse selection of our high-quality, sustainably raised products to local markets every weekend. We proudly offer nutritious, pasture-raised proteins, including our tender lamb, flavorful chicken, and farm-fresh eggs. Beyond the kitchen, you can also find unique non-food goods like raw wool fleeces and luxurious sheepskins, plus our popular handmade goat’s milk soaps.

Saturdays: Fowlerville Farmers Market

  • LOCATION: Downtown Fowlerville, MI

SUNDAYS: Williamston Farm & Artisan Market

  • TIME: 10AM to 2PM
  • LOCATION: McCormick Park (N Putnam & High St)
